TRAININGS & EVENTS
Participate in two early-summer trainings to learn Summer Rangers culture and guidelines and gel as a team. The first is a full camp training, the second is camp week-specific. Adult leaders and interns participate in these trainings.
Each Wednesday of camp, we gather for dinner to review the week and discuss the strengths of each CIT we’ve worked with in order to provide them with well-rounded, valuable written feedback and thanks.

Can’t recall the difference between igneous and metamorphic rocks? Not to worry! We give you the background you need on any topic we cover to ensure your confidence and success.
With a wealth of examples of fun and effective teaching activities to choose from—and the freedom to create your own if you prefer—you are sure to wow campers with engaging ways to learn and teach elements of our themes.
Summer Rangers brings together:
Campers currently in grades 1-5
CITs currently in grades 6-9
Interns currently in grades 10-12
and Adult Leadership Team members
to create a strong community of enthusiastic and adventurous learners.
We try new things.
We learn from our mistakes.
We cheer each other on.
…And we do it all over again the next day.
